| From April to September 2004 I worked at Golden Square Secondary College, Bendigo as textile artist-in-residence. This project has been funded by the Department of Education and Training, managed by Arts Victoria's Artists in Schools program. I worked on two projects. One project was to work with Year 7 students making crocheted Bird's Nests. On the second project I worked with a selected group of Year 9 & 10 students. Together we created an eight meter artwork entitled 'The Hanging Forest'. The textile mural was constructed during the arts festival week in early September 2004. |
