This site will tell you a bit more about me, my life and my work.

I am a Poet. My third book of poetry was published in 2002, which also includes some of my art work.

I am an Artist. My journey as an artist began in 2000. I paint animals, nature and fantasy.

I am a dancer. I love being able to explore movements and the theatre. I am a member of the Weave Movement Theatre.

Living with cerebral palsy has limited my ability to speak, but this has never stopped me from wanting to be a creative communicator.

Today I use the Pathfinder speech generating device and the new LightWRITER SL40 to communicate. Technology is only one part of the AAC picture. I also use my speech, sign language and many other ways of getting my message across.

I am employed at the Communication Resource Centre in Melbourne. I am a community development worker. I care about the needs of people with complex communication needs, and want to ensure there is better community inclusion and quality of life for those with little or no speech. I am also employed as a mentor and tutor for students and families at the Cerebral Palsy Education Centre (CPEC).
