Marx married Anna Christina Knop, daughter of Peter Knop and Margarethe Struven, on 17th Nov 1797. Anna was born 8th July 1774 and was christened 14th July 1774 in Kleinen Sonnendeich. She died 22nd Jan 1828 and was buried 27th Jan 1828.
