This webpage describes my commitment to lifelong learning for all. The links will be to places where you, your children, friends or anyone interested in learning can go to find something fun to do. We live in an age when, more than ever, we need to keep on learning for our very survival. Who knows, in our lifetime we might need to know how to make straw sandals? Two of my favourite 'learning' quotes: 'Give a man a fish and he eats for today. Teach him to fish and he eats for a lifetime.'Trad. I hear and I forget. I see and I remember. I do and I understand. - Confucius And one for our times: The illiterate of the 21st century will not be those who cannot read or write, but those who cannot learn, unlearn and re-learn -Alvin Toffler |
