The National Council for Single Mothers and their Children (NCSMC) is a self help group to fight for the basic and essential rights of all sole parent families. The NCSMC was formed to act as a national voice for the existing network of state based councils in Australia

Womens Information & Referral Exchange

WIRE - Women's Information provides free information, support and referrals to women across Victoria. WIRE services include a phone support service, a walk-in centre, training, education, and this comprehensive, searchable website. Across these services, WIRE aspires to be recognised for quality and consistency in informing, supporting, knowing and voicing the concerns of Victorian women.

Brunswick Neighbourhood House

Brunswick Neighbourhood House offers a wide variety of services to families, women and children. Moreland Single mothers meet every Monday from 1 to 3 pm. Childcare is provided free of charge and all activities are free.

Moreland Single Mothers Group meets every Thursday from 1 to 3 pm. Childcare is available at no cost but it is essential to book. Currently we are offering a programme called Moving Forward - a positive and informed response to the changes to Federal Law and single parents.
