The Committee of the Mernda & District Residents Association would like to offer our heartfelt sympathy to all who suffered loss in the recent bushfires. Our thoughts are especially with those in the closest areas, where most of us would know someone who has passed.

We would also like to congratulate those magnificent volunteers from the CFA, who have tirelessly fought the fires, especially those of our own Mernda brigade.

Also congratulations to all the other volunteers who have been supporting those effected by the fires.
