The Mernda & District Residents Association, (MADRA) was formed in October 2004, and Incorporated in February 2005. Our purpose is to be the voice of the residents.

1. To promote the township of Mernda and District.

3. To encourage the provision of appropriate services to all residents.

4. To provide a united voice for the residents at community forums.
