Text Box: Our second newsletter this year brings greetings to you all. Since our last newsletter, BRECC have been involved in the following activities/programs:
1. To celebrate 'Cultural Diversity Week'  ( 14 -19th March 2005), BRECC opened its doors to all our stake holders on 21st. March to drop in for morning tea. Twelve people turned up.  In addition, ten of us went off to Melbourne on 18th. March to attend the Gala Dinner Dance hosted by VMC/Premiers Office at the Melbourne Convention Centre.
2. A sincere thank you to two of our members, Akosita and Cora, for organising and facilitating a  'Confidence Building Workshop' over two days. Ten  women from various ethnic backgrounds attended and they all gave us a positive feedback.
 3.There is a proposal by Text Box: service providers in Bendigo to establish a training centre to cater for disadvantaged residents in this region. BRECC is actively involved in this program. 
4. At the beginning of June BRECC held a planning day at the Bendigo Airport, facilitated by John Pacher, to commence the  development of a business plan for BRECC. As part of this process, the executive are visiting the Shepparton  Ethnic Communities Council later in June.
Five new members have joined our council recently. We welcome them and wish to see many more join our enthusiastic team.
