Please help - Dobro and Banjo lost in NYC

C.W. Stoneking lost his two instruments in New York City in the trunk of a yellow taxi cab on the 17th of April 2008. The instruments are:

1974 metalbody Dobro d33 (or 33d) guitar (this guitar has old style tuners with cream coloured plastic knobs on them and a 1930s dobro coverplate with the Pat Pend Stamp on it). The guitar was in a black Calton Case from the UK with green velvet lining inside.

Also..

1905 Windsor Tenor banjo, the headstock reads

The Windsor
Ideal Model
8

The banjo was inside a wooden hardcase shaped like a coffin, the case is covered in natural coloured canvas.

Anyone who knows where these instruments are or happens to see them in someone's possesion or for sale please contact me via email at the link on this page. Thanks

C.W.
