Len Kenna is a Senior Fellow of the Australian Indian Historical Studies. He is a graduate of LaTrobe University and a published Poet, Playwright and Historian. At present, along with Crystal Jordan, he is researching and publishing a series of books on Australian Indian History that will correct many of the inaccuracies and ommissions in Austraian History concerning the contribution that Indians and other non British people have made to our development as a nation. Len and Crystal are currently engaged on a Public Speaking and Photo Exhibition Tour of Indians in the late 19th century and 20th century. It has been exhibited in India, Warrnambool, Victoria and Gurudwaras in New South Wales and Victoria, Australia. Len is also preparing a petition to have Australian Indian History taught in schools.

Indians and Anglo Indians discovered the Victorian Coastline of Australia and Bass Strait. So doing became the first non indigenous people to land in Victoria. Indians and Anglo Indians became the first non indigenous people to undertake an overland trek in Australia. This trek resulted in more tragic deaths and suffering than the later Bourke and Wills Expedition. In 1792 food and supplies shipped in from India saved the Colony from starvation. Supplies, Animals, etc arrive in the Colony in larger numbers and quantities far greater than from England or elsewhere. Moslems visiting our shores and sailing away with tradeable objects from approximately 1200 AD. This is the forgotten History. Or is it the ignored History?
