What started to keep me off the streets has developed beyond expectation.
Now with the assistance of the many members the Our Extended Family the Family Tree not only shows numerous generations of SHERLOCK Descendants but as well those who descended from the marriages of SHERLOCK ladies thus extending the family tree.
Also this (our/your) site has members who's only connection may be via a common surname, one day a firm connection may be found between these surnames, until then we welcome you all into the family and it's sharing ways.
To assist the Extended Tree in ites growth would members please remember to submit a copy (gedcom) of their own family branch research to Reg at regsherl@mc2.vicnet.net.au
The Gedcoms wil be stored in the Gedcoms Folder here at SHERLOCK Genealogy on the Vicnet system for safety and will not be shared witout your (the submitter) consent , this request this made in the spirit in which this site was established.
Please remember details relating to any living person should contain as a minimum NAMES, YEAR of birth, COUNTRY and COUNTY of birth, we request thses details because as a minimum these details assist in research now and in the future.
Under "Group Features" you will see "Links" and by selecting this choice you will find url’s/link’s that take you to websites that hold various versions of the many Tree’s/Branch’s that go to make up the extended FAMILY tree, the majority of these are the private work of others who have kindly SHARED access, PLEASE add your own url/link.
Don’t forget to explore the site and facilities made available here at MC2 to all members, don't worry you won't break the site and please don't forget you can share Photo’s by adding to site by creating your families photo folder in Photos or sending the photo's to Reg and he wil place in new or appropriate folder.
If anyone needs research assistance please don’t hesitate to ask there will be a member that can help, and remember you can post item's etc.. to Notice Board
Special mention must of everyone who has assisted myself however there are far too many people to name here so those I miss I ask forgiveness of, but I feel I must mention Anne (my other half), Pam SHERLOCK (nee:NORTON), Mary LOWE, Percy (Mac) HART, Yvonne PURDY (nee:SHERLOCK), Thank you all and you all have my everlasting gratitude.
