Eternal Father, I offer Thee the Most Precious Blood of Thy Divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the Holy Souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the Universal Church, those in my home and within my family. Amen (This is a powerful prayer said to release 1,000 souls from Purgatory each time it is said.) ************************************************************************************************** A WEEK OF PRAYERS FOR THE HOLY SOULS Sunday: O Lord God Almighty, I pray You, by the Precious Blood which Your Divine Son Jesus shed in the garden, deliver the souls in Purgatory and especially that soul amongst themall which is most destitute of spiritual aid; and bring it into Your Glory where it may praise and bless you forever. Amen Our Father... Hail Mary Eternal rest grant to them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. Amen Monday: O Lord God Almighty, I pray You, by the Precious Blood which Your Divine Son Jesus shed in Hs cruel scourging, deliver the souls in Purgatory, especially that soul amongst them all, which is nearest to its entrance into Your Glory; that it may soon begin to praise and bless You forever. Amen. Our Father... Hail Mary... Eternal rest... Tuesday: O Lord God Almighty, I pray You, by the Precious Blood which Your Divine Son shed in His bitter crowning with thorns, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that one amongst them all which would be the last to depart out of their pains; that it may not tarry so long a time before it comes to praise You in Your Glory and bless You forever. Amen Our Father... Hail Mary... Eternal rest... Wednesday: O Lord God Almighty, I pray You, by the Precious Blood which Your Divine Son Jesus shed in the streets of Jerusalem, when He carried the Cross upon His sacred shoulders, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that soul which is richest in merits before You, so that having soon attained the right place in glory to which it is destined, it may magnify You and bless You forever. Amen. Our Father... Hail Mary... Eternal rest... O Lord God Almighty, I pray You, by the Precious Body and Blood of Your Divine Son, Jesus, which He gave with His own hands upon the eve of His Passion to His beloved Apostles to be their meal and drink, and which He left to His whole Church to be a perpetual sacrifice for the life-giving food of His own faithful people, deliver the souls in Purgatory and especially that one which was most devoted to this Mystery of infinite love; that it may with Your Divine Son and the Holy Spirit, ever praise You in Your Glory forever. Our Father… Hail Mary… Eternal rest… Friday: O Lord God Almighty, I pray You, by the Precious Blood which Your Divine Son shed on this day upon the wood of the Cross, particularly from His most sacred hands and feet, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that soul for which I am most bound to pray; that no neglect of mine, may hinder it from praising You in Your Glory and blessing You forever. Amen Our Father… Hail Mary… Eternal rest… Saturday: O Lord God Almighty, I beseech You, by the Precious Blood which gushed forth from the side of Your Divine Son Jesus in the presence and to the extreme pain of His most holy Mother, deliver the souls in Purgatory, and especially that one amongst them all which was most devout to her; that it may come quickly into Your Glory, there to praise You, in her, and her in You, through all the ages. Amen. Our Father… Hail Mary… Eternal rest… ************************************************************************************************** CHAPLET FOR THE HOLY SOULS The Chaplet is said on ordinary Rosary Beads. 1st Large Bead: Our Father, who art in heaven; hallowed be Thy name; Thy kingdom come; Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. Amen 3 Small Beads: Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee; blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of they womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of hour death. Amen 2nd Large Bead: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen On each Large Bead and the Joiner: Eternal rest grant to them O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon them, may they rest in peace. May their souls and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
