Into your hands we place our prayers. For our men and women serving in the military, protect them! For innocent victims of war and violence, spare them! Mother of Mercy, Queen of Peace, pray for us and give back to a world at war a righteous peace and the justice and charity of Christ. Have special pity on those peoples, who throughout the ages have honoured Your Heart with particular devotion by the veneration of Your ikons.
