BLUE EUCY EXPRESS

ICRC inglewoodcrc@impulse.net.au

The Walking Group on a special outing trying yabbying at Kingower.

As you may be aware, the resource centre held its official opening on 6th September and what an opening it was. Rain, rain and more rain, it was wonderful. A special thank you to Mayor Gavin Holt for officially opening the centre. Thank you to all who attended, it was lovely to see so many smiling faces. A special thank also to Chris Sandy for the wonderful catering.

A special welcome for Jude Perry who is the Centre’s new Co-ordinator. Jude comes from the welfare and education sector with many years of experience and lots of wonderful ideas.

UFO (Un-Finished Objects) get together every Thursday from 12.30-3.30pm. Bring along whatever you want to do, share your skills or learn some new ones. Come for an hour or two or just drop in for a cuppa and a chat. We would love to see you.

There are lots of expressions of interest for various courses and we are endeavouring to add these to next terms program. Thank you to all who are contributing ideas, your input is most valuable. Interest has been generated in a book chat club, anyone out there in readers’ land who is interested, contact the centre. Another interest has been for an antique appraisal day.

There are still 5 places remaining for the chain saw course. By the way we are not holding it at the centre as stated in the Loddon Times as we only have one lemon tree.

Thought for the Day: Success or failure in life is caused more by mental attitudes than by mental capacities.
