MISSION STATEMENT


For the empowerment of individuals and groups within our community by providing opportunities for education, training and for social interaction and the development of life skills and any other activities consistent with these aims.

STATEMENT OF PURPOSE


1. To facilitate self-help and mutual support amongst all interested members of the community.
2. To actively reduce social isolation within our community.
3. To provide assistance to persons / families with economic/ special needs to access essential daily requirements.
4. To develop and provide a resource and information centre.
5. To develop recreational and social activities for all groups in our community.
6. To provide services which will meet the immediate needs of individuals and families.
7. To provide opportunities for the development of basic skills for living and return to work.
8. To provide adult educational training and professional development as required within our community.
9. To promote the advancement of our community.
