The first meeting for 2008 was on Saturday February 23rd at the home of Sue and Des Lowry.
(Pertemuan pertama di tahun 2008 pada hari Sabtu, tanggal 23 Februari di rumah keluarga Pak Des dan Ibu Sue Lowry).
BAIK's inaugural meeting was in February 1983. That initial meeting was organised by Joan Ponsford and held at her home. (Pertemuan perdana BAIK berlangsung pada bulan Februari 1983. Pertemuan tersebut bertempat di rumah Ibu Joan Ponsford dan diatur oleh beliau). This month we celebrated our 25th birthday, with a birthday cake and nasi tumpeng. (Bulan ini kita merayakan hari ulang tahun (HUT) BAIK yang ke 25, dengan sebuah kue ulang tahun dan nasi tumpeng). As the founder of our group, Joan was served the first slice of the yellow rice and also was given the task of cutting our birthday cake. (Sebagai pendiri dari klub kita BAIK, Ibu Joan dilayani dengan potongan pertama nasi kuning, dan beliau juga diberikan kesempatan untuk memotong kue ulang tahun).
Des, Sue and Irene provided photos of our 25 years of activities. (Pak Des, Ibu Sue dan Ibu Irene telah mempersiapkan foto-foto kenangan dari kegiatan-kegiatan BAIK selama 25 tahun terakhir). They created some amusement. (Foto-foto ini sangat menarik). Some of us have aged, just a little, over those years! (Dalam 25 tahun itu, beberpa diantara kita telah menua, hanya sedikit saja menuanya!)
After the meal our Annual General Meeting was held. (Setelah makan malam bersama, Pertemuan Umum Tahunan dilaksanakan).
