February 2007 Meeting

February's meeting was our Annual General Meeting. It was held at 7 p.m. on Saturday 24th at Sue and Des Lowry's home. After our Indonesian meal, 2006 activities were reviewed. Secretary Clayton read last year's AGM minutes, President Etty reported on our varying activities and treasurer Des presented the audited report of our healthy finances. Then all positions were declared vacant, James Lerk took the chair and officers were elected for 2007. Only three new faces are in this year's lineup: Sandra Penna, replacing her husband Greg as Vice-President and new committee members Chris Nanere and Kusnandar. We thank outgoing committee members Enti Thomas and George Wood for all they did on our BAIK committee last year. The BAIK committee for 2007 is: President: Etty Lerk Vice President Sandra Penna Secretary: Clayton Bolitho Treasurer: Des Lowry.
