February Meeting

The first meeting for 2006 was on Saturday February 25th at the home of Sue and Des Lowry. The evening's first activity was the Annual General Meeting. Office bearers for 2006 are: President: Etty Lerk Vice President: Greg Penna Secretary: Clayton Bolitho Treasurer: Des Lowry Committee Members: Ruth Black, Heri Febriyanto, Enti Thomas, George Wood Our thanks go to Greg, Enti and all of the 2005 committee for all of the work they did for the club and we wish the new committee members well. A group of Indonesian students (Gelombang 2) at present studying at La Trobe University Bendigo were our guests for the evening, joining us in time for the Indonesian meal. Afterwards two of our visitors played guitar to accompany community singing of traditional and popular Indonesian songs, something that is becoming a tradition at meetings at the Lowry's home.
