The Society was formed in 1978 by a small group of dedicated people who all have a common interest in Australian history and, in particular, the history of the colony of Victoria.
Through the avenue of re-enactments they were able to bring history to life in front of the public at shows, opendays, special events and celebrations, etc. The Society is family orientated and we encourage people from all age groups to participate in the fun. The Society has been an incorporated body for many years now and is also a member of the Royal Historical Society of Victoria and the Australian Napoleonic Association. The Society meets monthly on the second Wednesday of each month. Check our calendar of events page for these dates and locations. |
