Campaign for the 2004 Moreland Council Election

Election Day: Saturday, 27th November 2005

Where to Vote

WHY ARE WE CAMPAIGNING?

  1. To educate potential Council Members about the history, significance and potential of the Hoffman Brickworks site.

  2. To influence voters to elect candidates who are supportive of appropriate development and reuses of the historic buildings on the Hoffman Brickworks site.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?

  1. Survey of candidates standing for election in the South Ward

Save the Brickworks has conducted a survey of all the candidates in South Ward:

  2. Sharing the results of the Survey of Candidates

To make sure local voters know how the candidates view the future of the Hoffman Brickworks, we have provided the results of the survey to our local papers – Moreland Leader, Community News and The Melbourne Times.

A Flyer (available here as a 2-page PDF) summarizing the results of the survey will be distributed by mail and email to friends and supporters of Save the Brickworks Inc. The flyer will also be distributed into letter boxes in a limited area around the Hoffman Brickworks site.

  3. Join in the Discussion Forum on mc2 *

This is an electronic means of sharing information, views and ideas with members and others who access the forum. The forum is part of mc2 ("my connected community") hosted by Vicnet.
