Paynesville Maritime Museum - Member's Area
Paynesville Maritime Museum (Est. 2009) is a non-profit community organisation caring for the maritime heritage of East Gippsland and the Gippsland Lakes.
For member's reference, policies, meeting minutes, newsletters and files relating to the sub-committees have been archived under Group Files. Select this option from the menu, expand the GLMM folder (left click the + box beside it). Expand the Shares Files folder (left click the + beside it). This will reveal all the archive folders labelled with the category of their contents. Left click on the folder you wish to open.
NEW November 11 - Templates have been added to Shared Files for the data entry forms used to enter research data into our main InMagic dBTextBase system. We can provide researchers with a program to work in Microsoft Access (2003 or 2007) or Open Office to direct enter data which can be directly transferred to the main system. Please contact John Rigg or Andrew Thistlethwaite.
HIGHLIGHTS
October 2010 - The significant Neil Hansen photo collection has been provided to the museum to record (some 5,000 photographs).
October 2010 - The Gilsenan collection including a 1915-1939 register of Fishing & Boat Licences has been given to the museum
November 2010 - Strategic Plan for next 3 years released.
November 2010 - Reception/research office established in the new Paynesville Community Centre, 6/55 The Esplanade Paynesville 3880
PLEASE NOTE - SHARED FILES have changed. Previous documents are now in folders under the GROUP FILES menu. New uploads will be displayed in SHARED FILES for approximately 1 week before archiving them in their respective folder in GROUP FILES. Any file uploaded directly into GROUP FILES will not initiate an emailed notification to members that it has been posted to the site.
