2009 Great Victorian Bike Ride - November 28th to December 6th

 The Great Victorian Bike Ride finishes in Geelong this year, after winding its way along the western Victorian coast. The multiday ride will include stops at local towns such as Anglesea and Queenscliff, before finishing at Geelongs Eastern Park.

2010 Jayco Bay Cycling Classic

 The 21st Jayco Bay Cycling Classic criterium series includes 3 stages in central Geelong:
  • Saturday January 2nd: Eastern Park circuit.
  • Sunday January 3rd: Eastern Park - new circuit including the new road link constructed in October.
  • Monday January 4th: Ritchie Boulevard, Eastern Beach.
The final fourth stage will occur in Williamstown on Tuesday January 5th.

Amy's Ride - January 3rd

 Amy's Ride is a cycling event run by the Amy Gillett Foundation in support of road safety for cyclists.
The ride will be held on Sunday January 3rd, starting and finishing in Geelong's Eastern Park. Four ride options are available:
  • 120km circuit or the Bellarine Peninsula
  • 60km circuit or the Bellarine Peninsula
  • 27km ride along the Barwon River
  • 1km kids ride within Eastern Park

2010 UCI Road World Championships

 The UCI Road Cycling World Championships are coming to Geelong in 2010. Time trial and road race events will be held in the Men's Under 23, Women's Elite and Men's Elite categories over courses around Geelong. Cadel Evans will be defending his 2009 world champion title.
