Latrobe City Australia Day Award - 26th January 2012

On Australia Day on Thursday 26th January 2012, the Gippsland Ethnic Communities' Council's three day Immigration Wall of Recognition Multicultural Festival was the co-winner for the Community Event of the Year. This major award was shared with the Good Friday Community Family Day. Also on the same day, Dr Graham Dettrick, Chairperson of the GECC, received a Citizen recognition award at this event.
