Glen Eira Cheltenham Art Group was formed in 1963 by a small group of community minded enthusiasts whose aim was to involve people in art as a hobby. Today the group has around 110 members who attend classes in a highly professional environment at a club run as a not-for-profit venture by community volunteers. The group conducts day and evening classes for both beginners and advanced students and also holds art exhibitions, demonstrations, life drawing classes and social events.
