So you want to know more about FOSM?

1. We are either residents of the City of Whittlesea or come from any other areas, but we all share a common interest in the objectives of FOSM Inc.

2. Most of us have jobs but volunteer our time to impove the quality of life for residents of the City of Whittlesea.

3. We come from a range of different vocational backgrounds including teaching, the public service, town planning, the defence force, private enterprise, marketing, sales, other white collar and blue collar occupations and home makers and retirees. We are not associated with any political party, but we do have links with other not-for-profit community groups and some local and state government departments or agencies.

4. A nine member Committee manages the affairs of the Association and meets at least 8 times per year with a minimum of 3 general meetings as well, but all members are welcome to attend any meetings and to bring along a guest. In fact, we also have quest speakers to meetings on a variety of topics of interest to members. Sometimes we call public meetings as well.

5. We generally communicate with each other between meetings by email, the website and telephone.
