Foreva Young Youth Comittee
The FYYC organizes activities, workshops and trips for Assyrian Chaldean(Indigenous Christians of Iraq) young people residing in the area of Hume.
The FYYC is made up of 8-10 dedicated volunteers.After witnessing members of their community going through a number of issues, they decided to form a committee and assist young people by providing them with leadership opportunities and proactive activities.
The FYYC successfully organized 'The Launch' safe dance party, the 'Freedom to Learn' trip to Sydney, and is working on organizing information sessions about drugs and alcohol, safety on the roads, and self image to engage young people, their parents and community leaders.
