| Overall
Perce White Reserve has regional significance for conservation. It makes a substantial contribution to biodiversity in both the City of Port Phillip and the Gippsland Plain Bioregion. The site is also significant in that it provides a unique example of a maturing revegetation project commenced by the Port of Melbourne Authority in 1985, which is now providing habitat for a range of fauna species. Flora Seven regionally significant species occur naturally (not planted) within the Reserve, with the occurrence of Prickly Couch (Zoysia macrantha) being the only record of this species between Cape Otway and Westernport Bay. In addition, another four (possibly six) naturally-occurring species were locally significant. The site has regional conservation significance for flora, owing to the presence of the seven regionally significant flora species and the presence of Coastal Dune Grassland EVC, which is vulnerable in the Gippsland Plain Bioregion.
