Federation of Affiliated Bridge Clubs of Victoria
The Federation of Affiliated Bridge Clubs of Victoria (FABCV) represents Victoria's approximately forty bridge clubs mostly in negotiating with the Victorian Bridge Assiciation (VBA) which manages state affairs. The FABCV's major concerns are Victoria bridge's undemocratic administrative structure and the low popularity of bridge in Victoria compared with other states. The FABCV is dissatisfied with the VBA's management of state affairs; bridge is becoming increasingly popular amongst people playing for enjoyment and companionship, not masterpoints. Victoria should recognise and adapt to this change.
