GENI - Online Community Board
GENI Global Energy Network Institute is an international non-government non-profit organisation accredited with the United Nations and affiliated throughout the world. GENI researches and disseminates information on the relationships between population, development, the environment and energy issues and promotes a practical solution to the world's most pressing problems through the global interconnection of renewable resource energy.
The origin of the energy grid initiative emerged as the highest priority of Dr R. Buckminster Fuller's World Game. Its stated purpose is 'to make the world work for 100% of Humanity in the shortest possible time through spontaneous co-operation without ecological damage or the disadvantage of anyone'.
Dr. R. Buckminster Fuller was an ordinary person who did extraordinary things. In 1927 he decided to see what one individual could do to improve the standard of living for all humans. He did this by not telling anyone how to feel, behave or what to believe, bu by creating inventions that could be spontaneously embraced as tools that made life more fulfilling.
Through this MC2 Community Board we can share the promise that each one of us brings in creating a better World for everyone!
