‘Einstein’ is a collaborative project across the Northern Inland ACE Cluster funded by NSW Learnscope in 2003.
Approximately 5 RTO-based teams comprising a total of 25 coordinators, tutors and training coordinators from businesses and industry client groups, will be involved. The tutors and training coordinators deliver accredited training in IT, Business Services, Community Services and General Education.
The aim of the project is to build confidence and skills in the use of an online community- mc2 - as a means of communication, resource sharing and professional growth. Participants will experience an online Community of Practice and be encouraged to establish their own communities and sites.
Most of these centres, tutors and coordinators work in isolation from their professional colleagues. An online community will provide them with the means to readily share problems, solutions resources etc
The project has been mapped to two accredited units from IT and Business Services Training Packages.
