East Gippsland Boardmaker Support Group
The East Gippsland Boardmaker Support Group has been established to assist community members throughout East Gippsland to use Boardmaker Communication Software.
Our aim is to provide a sustainable communication resource which will enhance interaction with people who have a wide range of communication and behavioural difficulties and language barriers.
Boardmaker software allows communication boards and signs to be produced using various pictures and symbols . This innovative use of technology will benefit anyone who produces information for, or communicates with people with disabilities in a well supported and professional environment.
Available for use in 100 languages the software can also be used to successfully break down language barriers for new migrants.
The group is open to people living outside East Gippsland. When applying for membership, please include your Postcode as we will need this information for reporting purposes.
