Dung Beetle Resource Package

In 2008 the Lucyvale Better Beef Group received Federal funding to put together a “Dung Beetle Resource Package”.

The Package includes:

* The benefits of dung beetles
* How to know if you have them
* Species identification and monitoring
* Caring for beetles
* Tips for setting up a community-based Dung Beetle Project
* Past and current Dung Beetle Projects (what they did, what worked, what didn't, challenges faced)
* Technical Reports
* Future Challenges & Opportunities

1000 copies of the package were produced in 2008 and distributed across Australia. They have proven to be very popular with Landcare and industry groups, researchers and landholders with an interest in learning more about these amazing beetles. Funds are being sought to place the package on a DVD. If you are interested in obtaining a copy please register your interest below.
