Rainbow Serpent

The Junior Guides were invited to make and take part in the Crooked Mountain Festival's Giant Rainbow Serpent. Each community organisation painted 6m. When completely constructed it measured 95m.
Guiding started back in England in November, 1909 and has spread all across the World ever since.
The Guidng World is split into 5 WAGGGS (World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts) Regions: Western, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Arab and Africa.
Each year on the 22nd February,we celebrate Thinking Day. This day is the combined birthdays of Lord and Lady Baden Powell, the Founders of Scout and Guiding.
