The Central West Region extends from the town of Cobar in the west to Coonabarabran in the East. Then the region extends south to Young .

This Guiding Division covers towns in the Parkes and Young Areas.
Macquarie Division of Central West Region of Girl Guides covers Wellington to the south-east and follows through to Cobar in the north-west.
This division covers the area from Lithgow in the east.
The Warrumbungle Division covers Girl Guiding in the townships of Gilgandra, Coolah and Coonabarabran.
Each year the Region gathers together for the Mallee Fowl Cheque Presentation.
