Hi, we are the Consumer Consultants of InnerWest Area Mental Health Service.

We are people who have used mental health services ourselves, and our jobs are to facilitate improvement of the quality of the service by getting your feedback and suggestion for improvements and by presenting the Consumer Perspective to clinical staff.

Our office is located at Waratah Clinic, Level 2 641 MtAlexander Road, Moonee Ponds and we can be contacted there most Mondays and Thursdays on 03 9377 3505, or by email
neil.turton-lane@mh.org.au
or

or

We publish regular bulletins and newsletters, which are an update of current activities and which let consumers know of opportunities to participate with this mental health service. If you would like to be on the mailing list, feel free to contact us directly. We can send you a hard copy of the newsletter or bulletin, or let you know when we have them available online.

IWAMHS Consumer Participation is a site by the Consumer Consultants of the service. This site contains information on the work we do, as well as access to Voices and Echoes, the consumer newsletter(currently unavailable, but some articles are available individually), and our Consumer Participation Bulletin.

This site is run by the Consumer Consultants, and is not necessarily the views held by staff or management of the service, or the views of the Consumer Consultants. We all do however, uphold the right of every Consumer to have an opinion based on their experiential perspective, and their right to express that opinion.
