You are invited to experience the pleasures of sailing under supervision. If you find you like the thrill of sailing in open water, you are welcome to join the club, improve your skills and join in some of the competitive races held over the summer season.
Each summer, the Anglesea Motor Yacht Club hosts a series of “Try Sailing” days, without obligation. Men, women and juniors are invited to try out.
A club yacht will be provided along with an experienced club member, all with safety jackets.
Three yachts are also available for hire for a season.
Our member Ron McDonald is the current Hobiecat State and National Champion.
The Yacht Club is located at Point Roadknight and those interested are welcome to join. You could join as a sailing or social member - family memberships are especially welcome.
Dates for 2007/2008 “Try Sailing” days will be posted once the summer sailing calendar is finalized and posted on this web site soon.
