Novice Bowling Tournament
All members of local sporting clubs, businesses and instrumentalities are cordially invited to participate in this tournament which will involve four nights of social and fun bowls.
Entrants must be novice bowlers (People who have not played in any formal competition or pennant). Flat soled shoes must be warn by all participants. Bowls can be provided. Once registered, a time can be arranged for coaching/training sessions if you wish to practice.
The competition will be 2 bowl triples (three players per team) and cost $5 to play, paid on the first day. Prizes totalling $100 will be awarded for each day's play and further prizes totalling $600 will be awarded for the overall competition.
The competition will be held from 6:30pm to 9:00pm on the following dates:
- Wednesday 14th October 2009
- Wednesday 21th October 2009
- Wednesday 28th October 2009
- Wednesday 4th November 2009
Prior to each day's play a sausage sizzle will be held at 5:45pm. Drinks will be available at 'Happy Hour' prices.

Registration closes 1st October 2009. If registering, please include the following in your email/message:
- Names and contact details for all three team members
- Whether you would like the City of Heidelberg Bowling Club to provide a mentor to assist you on the night. A mentor will provide advice and bowling tips during the game.
