James
| c1808? | Born. |

| 21/08/1824 | Colonial Secretary's index: James Warrington - born in the colony - employed by Moses Brennan of district of Appin. Memorial. |
| 1823-25 | Muster entry: James Warrington - born in the colony - employed by M. Brennan, Appin. |
| 1828 | Census: James Worthington - born in the colony - aged 23 - labourer - to Moses Brennan. [This census entry also records James as having been transported on the Archduke Charles in 1812 with a 7 year sentence, and this appears to have been an error. Others in Moses Brennan's household had been transported aboard that ship.] |
| On the occasions of James' petitioning for land, his marriage and the birth of his first two children, the name Warrington had been used, but all his subsequent children were registered as Worthington. Why such a definative change in the spelling of the name occured at this time is a mystery, but it is possible that his father John Worthington was still floating around.

William
| 1810? | Born. |
| |
| 1823-25 | Muster entry: William Worrington - aged 13 - born in the colony - employed by Samuel Fry, Illawarra. |
| c1835 | Married Louisa ('Lucy') KNOWLAND (b. c1808 NSW ; parents David KNOWLAND (Thomas' guardian - see above) & Mary SMITH ; previously married James Jackson 1826 at St Phillip's C of E Sydney, NSW). William and Lucy had 9 children. |
| William retained the surname Warrington, though his third child was registered under the name Fry, and his first child adopted the name Fry.
It is commonly thought that William was the youngest of Catherine's children (though the musters information does not seem to support that) and that he was born of a relationship she had with a man named Fry, probably a William Fry. I can find no traces of any William Fry in the colony as early as William's birth, and the first William Fry I can find did not arrive until 1823.
The 1823 muster entry above shows William working for a Samuel Fry, who was transported aboard the ship Royal Admiral in 1800. This man may have perhaps been a guardian of sorts to William, though I have found no evidence of a guardian relationship between the two.
Further, there is rock solid documentary evidence of all of Catherine Malone's other relationships, but I have found nothing at all linking Catherine to a Fry - William, Samuel or otherwise.
Catherine gave William the surname Worthington (or her version, Warrington) as she gave the other three boys, and I take this literally to mean that she declared William as the son of John Worthington. Until I can find any evidence at all to the contrary I must believe her.

John
| 1812? | Born. |
| 12/07/1820 | Colonial Secretary's index: John Warrington - to be admitted to Male Orphan Institution. |
| 12/07/1820 | Colonial Secretary's index: John Warrington - admitted to the Male Orphan School - Catherine Malowny his parent. |

| 1822 | John Warrington - aged 10 years - BC - Orphan School, Sydney |
| 1823-25 | Muster entry: John Worrington - aged 12 - born in the colony - Orphan School, Liverpool. |
| A John Warrington died on 26 August 1899 fron senile decay at Rookwood Asylum and was buried in the Catholic Section at Rookwood Cemetery, NSW. The Rookwood Asylum was from 1893-1913 a home for the aged and infirm. The informant on the death certificate was the Chief Superintendent and he stated that the information about parents, marriage, spouse and children were all unknown and he commented that he 'cannot obtain any particulars'. However, the certificate states that Warrington was 86 years of age (ie born c1813), and that he was born in Sydney, and this information indicates that he was the youngest child of John Worthington and Catherine Malone(y). His occupation was listed as labourer. |
