Elizabeth gave the name Cashen on her marriage certificate, stated she was a spinster, and gave the parents names shown above. On the birth certicates of the first two children her maiden name is also given as Cashel and Coshin. The birth certificates of the subsequent children state that Elizabeth's maiden name was Gatliffe. The birth certificate of the final child, Francis, confirms that all the children were born to the same couple, but I can offer no explaination as to why the maiden name given was changed from 1859.
