Carer and Depression Support Group
The Depression Support group is a community based self help group which meets regularly and provides a form of support for people suffering depression, and their carers. It provides a valuable adjunct to existing mental health and community health services.

The group is run by members, and local workers provide help in the form of organisational and facilitation support. Local psychologists have also presented information sessions on depression and how to overcome it. This group is an important part of our local community and we believe it can play a significant role in reducing depression.
If you suffer from depression or are caring for someone with depression, you are welcome to attend our informal meetings. Please see EVENTS page for more information.
