To get the most out of art, it requires artists of many disciplines so if you have an interest in DRAWING, PAINTING, FOLK ART, LIFE DRAWING, GLASS WORK, CERAMICS, WRITING, DESIGN, THEATRE, SCULPTURE, SPIRITUAL ART, MUSIC, PORTRAITURE …or any other art …Or just want to further the arts in Wyndham, join the Wyndham Community Arts Alliance Inc. CAA - Wyndham Community Arts Alliance Inc (CAA) is a not-for-profit organisation with members from Wyndham’s community that are interested in the arts and local artists. CAA provides support to raise awareness of the local arts community and to further the development of professional working conditions of local artists. We aim to achieve a local community in which artistic activities in their diversity receive political and social support, acknowledgement and recognition of their vital role, importance and impact on our society and in our lives. Our arts precinct, Wyndham Art Works at 88 Sayers Road, North Laverton (opposite the big golf ball), is the focal point for art in Wyndham. It has artist studios for hire and viewing, and holds many art classes and workshops throughout the year eg. Life drawing, spiritual art, glass slumping, folk art and much more.
