Transport Connections is about communities working together to improve local transport.
Connect to Ballarat, connecting transport disadvantaged individuals and groups to transport services in the Ballarat area.
The Connect to Ballarat project oblectives are:
1. Make better use of existing transport resources to fit the needs of the community,
2. With the community develop innovative sustainable local transport solutions,
3. Build and maintain partnerships for better integrated transport provision, and
4. Develop sustainable networks to increase community participation in decision making.
Connect to Ballarat is funded through the Victorian Governments Transport Connections program, a cross government initiative to help communities work together to improve local transport.
