The Bundoora Bowling Club is located in the heart of Bundoora, in Melbourne's northern suburbs. The club has three excellent greens 2 Santa Anna couch grass greens and 1 synthetic green, catering for all standards of competition for men and ladies.
Bowls is no longer only a sport for the older generations, although many play the game for its enjoyment, social aspects and the competition associated with team sports. The game is changing and more younger players are participating than ever before. In fact, three of our last five Men’s Club Singles Champions were 20 or less when they won the championship. But that doesn’t mean the younger generation is taking over.
Now is an opportunity for you to join one of the progressive clubs on the northern suburbs. We’re looking to build on our achievements, to foster the game, and ensure that Bundoora Bowling Club is here for the long term. We're looking for mums who have retired from netball, or dads who retired from cricket, or students who might want to take up something a bit different, or anyone else who just wants to have a go.
Membership fees are subsidised in your first year; free coaching is available for prospective members, both individually or within a groups; and bowls may be borrowed while you’re learning the game.
We conduct open days, and friends and neighbours days, and our all weather synthetic surface allows a year round facility to hone your skills.
