| Higher priority projects may be eligible for further assistance i.e. use of fencing contractors. This is dependant on the following attributes:
Conservation status of the Ecological Vegetation Classes represented by the vegetation. Endangered species. Distance to the nearest remnant (remnants that are isolated from other populations either by distance or inhospitable surrounding habitats are more prone to species loss). Area of works (larger remnants support a greater number and diversity of species). Works type (remnant protection versus establishment of new vegetation). |
