Remnant Buloke Woodland on private land.
Buloke (Allocasuarina leuhmannii) regeneration.
The Buloke Biolink Project is a remnant protection and enhancement project that also establishes new vegetation across the landscape of the Buloke Shire. The outcomes of the project include:

-Establishing 1000 hectares of new vegetation each year until 2013.
-Protect all private remnant vegetation in the Shire by the year 2013.

These goals potentially have significant social and economic outcomes. The local community, along with Green Corps teams, have undertaken on-ground works and community capacity building, including fencing, tree planting, guarding and watering, signage, seed collecting and working with a range of community groups on planting days.
