Birchip Landcare Group
Birchip is situated 350 kilometers north west of Melbourne on the Sunraysia Highway. It is in the southern Mallee.
The group is interested in:
Pest and Weed control
Fauna and Flora in the local area.
In February, the Group welcomed Shane Lavell as the Landcare Co-Ordinator for the South East Mallee Landcare Network.
The most recent project was a Fauna Study to identify the effects on fauna on the withdrawal of surface water in the area.
The Ballarat University is compiling the information.
