The Filipino Sarong Banggui Inc. has new set of officers
THE members of The Filipino Sarong Banggui Inc. have recently elected the officers and management committee members for 2003.
Ernie Altarejos of Wantirna was chosen as the new president. Altarejos is the owner of EHA Services, a freight forwarding business. He is originally from the province of Masbate.
Other officers elected were as follows: Liza Di Blasio (vice president), Rosabel Cooke (secretary), Helen Sanchez (assistant secretary), Eva Day (treasurer), Elgen Shannon (assistant treasurer), Agnes Bailey (auditor), Mario Santeco (public relations officers). Sony Tagle was chosen as the new chairperson for Sports Activities Committee. Pol Arboleda is the chairman of the Social & Cultural Activities Committee.
Suzzette Tupek chairs the members and social welfare Committee.
The Filipino Sarong Banggui Inc. is a registered association under Dept. of Justice & consumer affairs, originally formed as a social support group by migrants from the Bicol Region. The Club later accepted membership from non-Bicolanos. Ernie Altarejos aims to increase the Clubs membership during his term and is welcoming interested individuals or families to join.
