Major activities
| The club takes part in a wide range of activities each year.
The major ones are * The annual Easter Exhibition which is held in The Old Fire Station, View Street, Bendigo from Good Friday until Easter Monday * Seymour Alternative Farming Expo held at Seymour in February * Yarra Valley Expo held at Lilydale in May each year * Melbourne Working With Wood Show held in October * Australia Day celebrations held at Lake Weeroona , Bendigo * Craft Alive held at the Schweppes centre , Bendigo in July * Bendigo Wool Show held in July at the Bendigo Showgrounds This year we will also attend the Wedderburn Annual rally in September We also liaise with other clubs and attend their annual exhibitions. Our club is an active member of the CWWG ( Central West Woodworkers Group ) and attend biannual inter district club meetings xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Each November our club presents wooden toys made by members to local charities. Toys are made by members of the Toy Group or by members working at home in their own workshop. The Bendigo Salvation Army has been the recipient of toys in the past few years. This year we hope to have enough toys to extend our giving to other charities in Bendigo.
