October 2003 - BAL MODERNE PROJECT
This project was hosted by Bendigo Arts Alliance, managed by Regional Arts Victoria, funded by City of Greater Bendigo and Arts Victoria in association with VicHealth and the Melbourne International Festival of the Arts. The event was held in the Bendigo Town Hall to an enthusiastic sellout crowd. Bal Moderne is a european model of an audience participation dance event.

Textile artist & set designer Marianne Midelburg created two Shoe Tree sculptures to flank the stage at the event.

The project facilitator was Felicity Johnson. The dance rehearsal leader was Nixson Eduard. Approximately 32 dance assistants guided the general public through the 4 commissioned contemporary dances. 30 volunteers assisted with front of house and catering duties.

October 2004 - 'METAMORPHOSIS'
The 3rd Bendigo Fringe Fashion event was held on the 30th. October 2004. There were two sell-out shows. The 'Kapoozies' were again the artistic directors with funding supplied by City of Greater Bendigo cultural development grant fund. Approximately 35 models were involved along with backstage and front of house crew.
