March 2000 - BANNER MAKING PROJECT.
Hosted by Bendigo Arts Alliance and funded by the City of Greater Bendigo cultural development grant. Workshops were conducted in textile banner making for women from multicultural backgrounds. Textile artist Marianne Midelburg facilitated this project.

November 2000 - INSTRUMENT MAKING WORKSHOP
Hosted by Bendigo Arts Alliance as part of Celebration of Community Arts event, funded by Regional Arts Victoria quick response grant. Musician Andy Rigby conducted instrument making workshops with children from local primary school.

February 2001 -... such fertile ground ...PROJECT.
A statewide Centenary of Federation, Regional Arts Victoria project, hosted at local level by Bendigo Arts Alliance. This art installation was constructed by artist Marianne Midelburg at the Pink Cliffs, Heathcote, Central Victoria. The image depicts the main icons of the region, namely box iron bark forest, wine, gold and central state location. This image was transformed into one of a twelve postcard set.

October 2001 - BELLS & BRASS PROJECT.
This was another statewide Regional Arts Victoria project hosted by Bendigo Arts Alliance, funded by Arts Victoria. At the local level this event was held at the Strathdale Community Hall to a capacity audience. In Melbourne the combined bands concert was held at the Sidney Myer Music Bowl. Participants learned especially commissioned pieces of music, which was played with brass hand bells.
