BENDIGO ARTS ALLIANCE HAS COORDINATED AND HOSTED MANY SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS AND EVENTS.
October 2002 - 'DECADENT & DELICIOUS' FRINGE FASHION WEARABLE ART PROJECT.
This statewide project was coordinated by the Kapoozies, managed by Bendigo Arts Alliance, funded by Regional Arts Victoria in association with the Melbourne Fringe Festival. The event was held at the Golden Vine Hotel to a capacity crowd.
Artists and models participated in a series of workshops with some additional theatre skills training culminating in a one-hour catwalk show. A selection of pieces was chosen for the Melbourne Fringe Festival fashion show.
October 2003 - 'EXOTICA' FRINGE FASHION WEARABLE ART PROJECT.
Due to popular demand, the Kapoozies once again staged this event. Again it was managed by Bendigo Arts Alliance and funded by Regional Arts Victoria. This time 3 shows were held at the Golden Vine Hotel to sellout crowds.
This project offered a wealth of opportunities to a greater number of artists, models, front & back stage crews.
